During my internships with horseback safaris in South Africa and Botswana, our 40 horses lived as a herd and roamed over large areas of land every day in search of grass.
In Germany, I worked in classical dressage stables, which respect the horse and use training as a means to keep fit until old age (I had many lessons on a 25 year old school master!).
However, I never found a place that combined these principles of dressage with living conditions emulating those of wild horses.
So, I decided to create such a stable!
George Degenhardt
George Degenhardt, who is admitted to the Bar in Paris, Düsseldorf (Germany) and England, has been a passionate horse owner since 2002.
He holds the Grand Riding Certificate (Großes Reitabzeichen, RA 4) from the German Equestrian Federation (FN), as well as the Groundwork Certificate (Bodenarbeitsabzeichen), and has successfully passed the FN’s Trail Riding Guide (Berittführer) exam.
In his search for the perfect stable for his horses, George realized again and again how difficult it is to find a place that truly offers horses healthy, species-appropriate living conditions.
That’s exactly why we decided to create such a stable ourselves – for our horses and for yours!
A place where horses can truly be horses again – close to nature, healthy and with everything they need.
